CEBTS 2020: How will the COVID-19 crisis
change theological education?
Thursday 9th July, 10.00-13.30 (CEST summertime)
We warmly invite you to join us for an online gathering of CEBTS.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis plans for CEBTS 2020 have changed. We have had to cancel our meeting in Amsterdam where we were to be hosted by IBTSC. However, in these challenging times there is value in meeting to reflect together on important questions that affect us all. We have therefore arranged for a Zoom meeting to discuss questions relating to theological education and the COVID-19 crisis.
We are delighted to have two guest presenters for our sessions. Dr Einike Pilli (Rector of Tartu Theological Seminary, Estonia) will facilitate a conversation about theological education and the COVID crisis and Revd Dr Michael Rohde (Chair of board IBTSC and senior pastor Evangelisch-Freikirchliche Gemeinde Hannover-Walderseestraße) will help us to explore implications for theology.
To be practical, we invite each college to be represented by a few people sharing a single computer or device (perhaps maintaining safe social distance!). It would be especially helpful for institutions to be represented by senior staff - principals, rectors, academic deans etc.

For further information contact the IBTSC administrator Marianne van Zwieten
We look forward to seeing you online.
Peace and Blessings
Mike Pears (Director, IBTSC)
