The words of this blessing are said, or sung, as part of the Morning Prayer of the Northumbria Community. Based in Northumberland, Northern England, the community connects people dispersed across the globe. Its spirituality and the rhythm of its Celtic Daily Prayer have been a significant influence on many European Baptists, particularly through the Community’s annual visits at the International Baptist Theological Seminary (IBTS) when it was based in Prague, and subsequently in the devotional life of the IBTS Centre in Amsterdam.

Lyrics:
May the peace of the Lord Christ go with you where ever he may send you. May he guide you through the wilderness protect you through the storm. May he bring you home rejoicing at the wonders he has shown you. May he bring you home rejoicing once again into our doors.
