Pray for political and security stability in Iraq, consolidating the values of citizenship, reject the violence, reconciliation, and good cooperation among all components of Iraqi people. The purpose is to help Christians feel safe for returning the displaced families to their villages and cities in Mosul and Ninevah plain, that they were displaced in 2014.
Pray for the election which will be in October, to help the new politicians of the young generation to get their responsibility to lead this country for the future of the Iraqi people from different religions and ethnic backgrounds.
Pray for security stability and the rule of law make Christians feel confident and not afraid of seizing their rights and properties. Especially after the bombing incident on the 21st of January (last Thursday), which resulted in the deaths of more than 30 people and more than 100 wounded.
Pray for the official registration of the Evangelical churches -including our Baptist Church- in the Endowment of the Christian, and other Religions Divan, as the failure to do that, hinders our normal functioning as well as their service.
