Baptists across Israel and the Palestinian Territories request fervent prayer for just peace. This includes the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel with 17 Baptist churches and the Council of Local Evangelical Churches in the Holy Land representing 13 Baptist churches in the Palestinian Territories, including a Baptist church in Gaza.
Pray for peace in Jerusalem and protection from missiles.
Pray for families impacted by the war and the children that have been traumatized. Pray for families who lost loved ones and their homes.
Pray for pastors to continue preaching and teaching under difficult circumstances.
Pray that the Council church members remain encouraged at this time.
For the injured to be touched by Jesus' stripes.
Pray for the end of the war between Israel and Gaza and the war between Israel and Lebanon.
Pray for the safety of our churches. We have been a little outside the conflict until now, but with missiles arriving from Lebanon, our cities and villages are also targets and our people live in fear, especially the kids.
Pray for our churches to be a voice for true peace, with God and others, in the midst of all this craziness.
Pray for the big need for emotional health care and trauma therapy in our society and in the church.
Pray for the bad economic situation in Israel that affects many of our church members.
